scissorsandthread: ‘Suspended’ Shelf | Martha Stewart For some reason when I start to love a magazine it gets canned. Case in point: Blueprint Magazine from Martha Stewart. Boo, Martha, boo! It was like a modern, younger version of Martha Stewart magazine. I actually remember pulling out this suspended shelf because I totally fell in love with it. I think that the styling of the picture is what took me - I am a bit obsessed with the gold/pink combo at the moment. And the best part of this shelf? The chain is just for show! You can get a cheap floating shelf from IKEA. If you don’t want to use chain, you could use rope, ribbon - anything you can attach from the roof to the ceiling.
